The short drive south from Hobart to the Huon Valley is the perfect time to get to know your host and share a few specific tastes and interests to inform your uniquely tailored adventure.

Start the morning with some of the regions excellent local produce direct from the makers. With fresh fruit farms, wineries, cider houses, dairies… there’s something for everyone. Thrill-seekers might also like a short, white-water jet boat experience on the Huon River (additional cost).

Catch the short, scenic ferry from Kettering to Bruny Island – home of unique native wildlife, gorgeous short walks, pristine nature and delightful local produce.

Whisky drinkers will love a quick stop at the House of Whisky, specialising in rare and local whiskeys from around the island. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate so it’s a great place to get schooled.

Tackle a quick and rewarding climb to the top of the ‘Neck’ for some sweeping views across both sides of the island.
