Mornington Peninsula Local – Private Day Tour

Duration: 8 hours
No. of Guests:  1-10 guests (more by design)
Languages: Available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, French, German & Italian (others by request)

Mornington is one of those wonderful regions you can’t make enough time for. Its proximity to Melbourne and abundant natural and culinary assets keep locals coming back week after week, year after year… and we’re all retiring down here. Spend a morning on a spectacular coastal trail or hand-feeding kangaroos and wallabies. Chat with wine-makers about back vintage pinots before dining among the vines with a private picnic. Pop your head in at galleries, distilleries or a local cheesemaker and drive home along the spectacular Port Phillip Coast.

Suggested but highly flexible itinerary:
Be met at your hotel by your expert Localing host for a 10 am start. The short drive to Mornington is a great chance to share some of your tastes and interests so these can be made a feature of your uniquely tailored experience.

Sit back and get to know your host in a luxury touring vehicle with water and a selection of Victorian treats.

En-route to the Peninsula, you might like to go behind the scenes at a favourite local wildlife park. Choose the option to have a ranger personally take you to meet, feed and pet our favourite cuddly creatures, or enjoy the park at your own pace.

The Mornington Peninsula has some classic local sparkling to get the day’s wine tasting underway. Tastings can be enjoyed at a number of local cellar doors, with the opportunity to venture behind the scenes with the winemaker.

The region is renowned for farm-to-plate experiences at restaurants and cellar doors. Enjoy a casual lunch or something more elegant among rolling hills and sprawling vineyards.

Visit hidden beaches among Victoria’s wild southern coastline for a gentle stroll after lunch or take the scenic drive up to Arthur’s Seat. For something different, visit a private indigenous gallery or sample farm fresh goats cheese and pastries and chat with the makers.

Your Localing host will have you back in Melbourne by 6 pm.
(start and finish times can be varied to suit your needs).
